In addition to the requirements of category S1, these shoes impress with a puncture-resistant mid sole and are extremely light, thanks to the RUNNEX® Alu-Protection toecap. ESD shoes reliably prevent the build up of static electricity in the wearer. The electric static discharge (ESD) that can cause damage is thus prevented in sensitive places of work such as laboratories, the electronics industry or research institutes.
